Hi Scouts & Parents, Just a reminder on
some upcoming events to sign up for at the meeting on Monday.
1. Monday
Jan 25th Begin signing up for volunteering at the Zit Dinner on March 6th. We
will also be distributing Ziti Dinner tickets to scouts to sell for the dinner.
Each scout is asked to sell at least 10 tickets.
2. Saturday Jan 30th
Klondike Derby Sweden Town Park 8:00am-3:30pm cost is $7.00 per scout and each
scout needs to bring a bag lunch and a cup.
3. Friday Feb 5th 6:30pm-
Sat. Feb 6th 10:00am Movie Lock in at MOS Cost is $5.00 per scout. Scouts will
pick the movies on Monday night. (See attached flier)

Sunday Feb 7th Scout Sunday 8:00am Mass then breakfast to follow. Cost is $1.50
per person or $5.00 per family.
5. Friday Feb 19th-21st Camp Gorton
Campout. Sign up deadline is Feb 1st.

Troop 130 has received a
Thank you letter from Lt Col. Louis Stout. He is the scout from
our Troop, and we collected items and sent a very large care package to him and
his unit right before christmas. Thanks again for all you support, the troops
really enjoyed receiving everything. Thank you, Len

to support the Society Of St.Vincent de Paul (SVDP). This is a
program to help others that have fallen on hard times. We will be supporting
them with a monthly food basket and them helping out in there soup kitchen and
whatever else they may need help with. We are asking each scout to bring
anon perishable food item to scouts with them on the first
Monday of each month. This food will be donated to the food cupboard in
our local community.
Thanks again for your continuous support and
together we can make sure we have the best year yet for Troop 130.
